I use these for my male cat that goes outside the litterbox sometimes. This pad is super absorbant and his 'misses' do not go through it to the floor.

I�ve tried puppy pads in the past and they would just get destroyed. As our dachshunds have gotten older they are having more accidents. We are both retired so they aren�t left for long periods. Plus it is even more of a struggle to get them outside in bad weather, which we have had a lot of lately. They always go on mat by back door, which makes for a lot of washing and clean up. My poor dog hated when I purchased this because now he can't hop from the back seat to the front seat, which can be distracting. I like that it has a seat belt as well. It keeps my car clean and is easy to assemble. I have not tried to wash it yet, but fits perfect in my trunk (nissan altima).
