We bought this for our 6 month old bulldog puppy. Our first trip we traveled 4 hours and our smartie pants figured out how to climb over. This comes with a lead restraint that i highly recommend. After our second trip he finally figured out it was his safe place and that made the long trip enjoyable for all.

Love this item. It fits perfectly in my 2018 Highlander and was easy to install. It seems to be holding up to the demands of my German Shepherd and does not slide around or bunch up. It is easy to clean the dog hair off the surface. The only recommendation I have, if there was a side flap to go over the top of the cup holders in the back it would make it that much better.
