I've not been able to use it yet and now I have purchased the V5 and will send for it when I return to Florida in a few weeks.

Just buy it. I got tired of messing with old 12v plugs on friends boats not working. I ran it 2 days in a row over 10 hours each day (charged at night), still at 50% power. Perfect plug and go. Also really fast shipping!
