It is exactly what I needed for both reflection and planning during this difficult season. It has helped me remember the goodness in life without avoiding the challenges. My attitude has shifted and my spiritual connection has deepened. I look forward to writing every day. I hope the Monk Manual will be around for a long time.

In one month, I've become faithful tl using the Monk Manual not because I must, but because I look forward to the time I spend with it. It is an oasis during this time of anxiety and unknowing and grief.

“God is teaching me” is a total turn off and feels like religion is being forced on users. More like a Christian fundamentalist journal rather than a monk manual. It doesn’t mesh with “monk” and it feels sneaky that’s it’s included. The manual is good overall. A little rigid and not a lot of space for actual planning-I’m maintaining a separate to do list which seems inefficient. I will not...

I am finding the Monk Manual an interesting tool. The MM can serve as a traditional calendar with basic planning functions but it is much more. Interested in linking personal and spiritual growth to the daily and ordinary? This may be just the ticket. Long-lasting change takes a commitment to practice. Practice takes time. The MM is helping support me do the interior work.

I’ve had a planner of one kind or another for decades. This one makes focus and reflection a natural part of each day with extended sections in the monthly and weekly pages. I’m still getting the hang of it after a month but know things will unfold if I persevere. So many free resources make this a great investment.

It arrives beautifully packaged, which makes the opening feel like an event. (As it was for me so thank you for that.) The manual itself is smart and aesthetically appealing. And I love that it doesn’t have dates. Everything is intentionally designed to help me build the habit and virtue of ordering my life. No dates means if I miss a day, I lose no pages- all is not wasted. I begin again. Finally...

Monk Manual’s first foray into ancillary tools for its mainstay planner is a pocket journal. The product comes in both lined or blank. The cover board is a dark slate with the small Monk Manual logo tastefully there in the bottom right hand corner of the cover. Inside under twenty pages, cream colored with light gray lines, with bolder lines for header and footer area.

After a rough spot in life, I used the Monk Manual to begin to be more introspective and track my growth. It helped me make leaps and bounds towards a healthier relationship with my emotions, a deeper prayer life, and be being more productive! I even told a family counselor I know about it and she is going to start recommending it to clients!

As a recently retired executive who had faithfully used a day planner for decades, the Monk Manuel has become an essential tool for daily contentment, significance, spiritual joy, and service to others. I spent years in coaching people to make a the retirement transition from success to serving with significant living. I even wrote a book (Crossroads-Leadership Lessons for the Second Half of Life...
