I have all MOJO St Croix rods offshore in shore. I have had the Reef Slayer for two weeks and have taken 30 red fish over 60 trout ten Blk drum and one over 40 lbs. This rod is light strong and my new favorite rod. I have a Diawa 4000 Certate on it so a super light outfit.

I haven't got a chance to use it yet, But it is beautiful to look at. I need to get a reel for it. Any suggestions?

Just returned from a 8 day Florida fishing trip.i used the rod in the bay ,caught several species of fish in the 2 to 6 pound range .love the rod , sensitive top ,strong on hook sets ,lightweight casting all day no problem really love the grips ,no slip even wet and fis slime.tje do it all rod is on my Christmas wish list

Absolutely love this rod! It’s light & easy to cast fat one handed with. It responds very well with feeling every bite. I have a Penn Slammer III 4500 ok this rod and it works great. Have all of the other Gale Force rods as well, they have done a great job at making the perfect rod to fit your fishing needs.

After receiving the rod, I paired it with a Penn Slammer 5500 I got for Christmas on sale. They are great together. Rod is awesome; the quality and craftsmanship is excellent. It is unbelievably light and sensitive. I took it out for a trip yellow tailing and it was incredible how you can feel the slightest of nibbles. I am really happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.
