I have been repairing stone chips since 1989..in the beginning I used a 2 part resin...that did an "ok" job for 10 years or so. then I discovered UV curing resin..I would use a tripod type system with a vacuum pump and that did a good job...I used that system for 15 years..then I discovered Glasweld resin and that did a terrific job repairing stone chips! This is the 3rd unit I have been around and the best and quickest one of them. I gave it to a young tech who takes care of her tools and cleans up after herself. She actually watched the training and took to it right away. I did yell at her for showing one of her coworkers how to use it. My last two units lasted about 5 or 6 years before I let every swinging dick use them, after that, they last ...

We have been doing chip repair for more than 30 years and this is the best resin that we have ever used. The clarity of the resin is by far the best.
