it has weaknesses that the old provac standard is better at. Can't get enough downward pressure with pit adapter to prevent leaks, uses 3 xs more resin than provac standard. Does seem to have more vacuum. Not living up to expectations. Have been in windshield repair business 34 years and have been with Glasweld all the way.

As irritating as it is to invest in equipment to handle things that should be caught if they actually inspect the glass, this is by far the best investment I’ve made to handle these scratches. I’ve used Cerium Oxide and bought systems from GT Tools, Innovative Polishing systems, and now Glasweld. I have been repairing stone chips since 1989..in the beginning I used a 2 part resin...that did an "ok" job for 10 years or so. then I discovered UV curing resin..I would use a tripod type system with a vacuum pump and that did a good job...I used that system for 15 years..then I discovered Glasweld resin and that did a terrific job repairing stone chips! This is the 3rd unit I have been around and the best and quickest one of them. I gave it to a young tech who takes care of her tools and cleans up after herself. She actually watched the training and took to it right away. I did yell at her for showing one of her coworkers how to use it. My last two units lasted about 5 or 6 years before I let every swinging dick use them, after that, they last ...
