Really enjoyed my round, first few holes ease you into the round with the first four holes all under 400yrds in length, you don’t need to hit a driver, then it’s starts to show it’s uniqueness, the heather was thick and tough to get out of. Best views of any course I’ve ever played. Back nine got a bit messy with loads of blind and short holes but that’s part of link. Staff were amazing.

A must play if in Dorset Played in their Senior Open in early August 2021 and we were blessed with light winds and 23° temp. Very undulating track with some stunning golf holes. This is a superb 9 hole links that challenges all aspects of your game the comments on the 3 holes over the railway are Harsh the 3rd is a risk reward par 5 the 4th a strategic short par 4 and 5th a difficult par 3 all three holes require accuracy . The finishing holes are as stated just great links holes. The green fee allows you to play 18 it is good value

A great test of links golf always found to be well presented, greens at a good pace. Nice clubhouse, friendly staff and well stocked Pro Shop. Dormy House reputed to be good although I have not stayed. Personally I rate this to be one of the top three courses in Wales. Aberdyfi is a great place to stay with lots to do other than the golf. Highly recommended.

Played the Montgomerie and Roman road as part of a golfbreaks deal. Having played them before, I knew what to expect, very hilly but a lot of very good, challenging and enjoyable golf holes on both courses. Great course & a good challenge, so many unique features, blind shots, sloping fairways really make you think about every shot! Condition of the course was very good & the greens were the best I’ve played this year, really true & fairly pacey. The only thing that let this place down was the greenkeeping staff on the mowers. Excellent! What an absolute gem of a golf course. Not overly long, but very cleverly designed with great greens, small strategically placed bunkers and brilliant views of Derbyshire. Kington is the number one golf course in Herefordshire according to www.top100golfcourses.com. The course offers unrivalled panoramic views. The free-draining moorland turf often renders the course playable when other local courses are water-logged.
