It was a little sticky, so for me I felt more comfortable applying this just to my hairline instead of the top of the scalp where there was more thickness anyway. But along the hairline it has certainly helped thicken those small hairs.

Hairguard recommend brushing in small circles, but with my long hair it would always get tangled. So now I do long strokes from front to back and that works really well

Maxoxidil is okay, but I don't think it's for everyone. It did slow my hair loss, but the new growth is not as much as I hoped for. I'll keep using it for a few more months before I make my final judgement.

Don't for a second think that this is going to cure all your problems, nothing will. Once you've realised that, just commit to a proper routine based on the science and that's the best you can do really. I spent a lot of time weighing up different brands/products and decided to go with this because the research on the ingredients is solid and for a 2 month supply the price is very reasonable. I was skeptical at first, but this shampoo is becoming a staple in my haircare routine. It's softer on my scalp than others I've tried and seems to be helping with hair growth. It doesn't lather a ton, which took a little getting used to, but it still cleanses well.
