It will take you some getting used to since it is quite painful to start with, but after a few goes it's fine. I use it with the serum and it's had a noticeable effect on my hair line in just under 6 months.

New formula is horrible! With the old formula, my scalp was always clean afterwards--for days without any oil build-up. And I had a lot less hair loss. That was like the best shampoo I've had in years! For the new formula, the added parfum makes the shampoo smell way too strong.
