Had a problem with pbs.org streaming a video. Found out it was the add-on HTTPS Everywhere that coursed the problem. After disabling it pbs worked. Very good service from them.

After upgrading to the latest version everything works very well. OnePlus 6 from Android 8.1 - the application works correctly. After upgrading to Android Pie 9.0, there are no problems with the application.
