I am happy. I test my hay every year and because it's high in iron, we need to raise the manganese a bit. I'd love to know why it is proteinate though. What does that mean?

It's been a little less than 8 weeks since I added Three Amigos to my 15 yr old OTTB mare's mix. I'm delighted with the results. She's been off from regular work quite a bit from soundness issues and I was concerned about maintaining condition, but I get a lot of compliments on how great she looks! Also, a noticeable positive difference in her new hoof growth. I mix it into her soaked feed and she readily cleans it up.

My gypsy vanner came with significantly cracked toes. I think it was a combination of being a heavy horse, and not so great trimming. Within a couple months this supplement put significant growth onto his hooves, and the cracks could be quickly trimmed out.
