You lose a star for the taste. This product used to come as little bright green pellets in a plastic bag in the container. Did that keep it fresher? Now they are big brownish pellets and my horse really doesn't care for the taste anymore, although I am told the ingredients are the same. Customer services is first rate A++. I got an initial container that seems to be all powder, like the bottom of the barrel or something. They immediately shipped out a replacement for free! The product itself is amazing. I have photos to prove it. A year on the product did wonders on my mare's hooves. Just today I bought a bag of tasty Triple Crown senior to mix with it so we will see how that goes. I also want to try your magnesium product. I am told it tends to calm down mean mares. Thanks!...

As far as I can tell, it is doing what it is supposed to do. I gave your information to our local veterinary supply and suggested that they consider stocking it, since they currently only stock a calcium/phosphors supplement and my vet specifically said use only a phosphors supplement. Postage is prohibitive. It costs as much or more in postage to purchase your product.

My horses hooves and mane were slow to grow but adding the biotin really made some new growth on both. Very pleased with it plus the horse loves the taste! It smells wonderful and makes me want to eat it too.

The first container that I got had a lot of powder in it. Mad Barn was quick to send me a new container. My PSSM type 2 horse is doing great on Amino Trace so far. She's looking more like her old self before her PSSM diagnosis. She gets 250 grams daily at the recommendation of Mad Barn. She also gets Visceral+ and Three Amigos from Mad Barn. She has gotten through the container and I've ordered the big bag. I do wish the bigger size was not in a bag but I do understand not wanting to put that much in plastic containers. I have not opened the bag yet so I can't tell you the quality of it.
