My gelding seems calmer on Chasteberry. He hasn’t been trying to mount the mares in heat or fight with the geldings so I am cautiously optimistic. My mare was diagnosed with PPID July 2023. She’s was started on Prascend. The drug caused adverse behavioral issues so stopped Prascend in January 2024 and started Chasteberry. Her latest blood test this April showed an ACTH reading of 14.3. So for now, chastberry seems to be helping. Her behavior is back to normal and we are back to riding.
