We recently bought a QH who came with very detailed anti-inflammatory instructions for her feeding, all of which were large name brand products with large name brand prices. We felt the regime would benefit from some simplification. We normally feed ground flax as part of out horses diets but the new horse did not take to this. We looked into flax oil, hemp oil and another highly advertised oil all of which were very expensive, then we remembered that Madbarn also had an omega oil. we feed hay, pasture, flax seed, Omeity pellets and now to our horses, and now W-3 oil. They have strong, feet, shining coats and bright dispositions. We are super happy with this product, plus it smells great, and tastes mild but delicious - yes I tried it!

My two Thoroughbred Makeover Project horses (the bay dragons) have been on the Visceral supplement for two months now and both have had marked visible and temperamental improvements. The gelding's body condition has been improving and his cribbing has decreased. The mare, who was starting to show indications of [redacted] issues - grouchy girth moments and sensitivity when brushing chest and barrel - is giving me less and less cranky-mare face moments when grooming, tacking up and riding. I have been administering the Visceral as a top dressing with their soaked beet pulp meals and the pellets are the first thing they go for. I am transitioning both of them over to the Optimum Probiotic product from the Visceral . They also receive the Omneity Premix for their minerals/vitamins along with ...

I am very happy with my purchase of jiaogulan (and spirulina). I was a first time user on my mare that has suffered from seasonal heaves for several years. I normally treat her with prednisolone and ventipulmin, and she's usually on the medications from the time it warms up in the spring until the start of summer (March/April to about June). This year, I did start her on prednisolone when her heaves started but I also decided to start her on spirulina and jiaogulan. I had her off the prednisolone within two weeks and her breathing on the spirulina and jiaogulan was BETTER than I'd ever heard it while on the medications. If I didn't know better I'd have thought she didn't have heaves. I'm 100% sold on these products.

I have been using this product for my senior Appaloosa gelding to help with gaining weight and for reducing pain related to old age. My gelding also has the heaves and an unexpected benefit I noticed this summer is his breathing seems much better. Normally I have to buy additional supplements to help his labored breathing and coughing but haven't had to do that this year and it's been a very humid season so far.

I'm a skeptic. Especially when it comes to supplements for the horses. In my 40 years of owning, riding/driving and showing I've seen a lot of fads come and go, including many that didn't work. In late summer (August) we noticed that the boys had inflamed guttural pouches, were coughing and had thick, white mucus in their nostrils after work. Our vet prescribed a course of anti-histamines and things improved, but as soon as we'd back off the antihistamine, the symptoms would reappear. There had to be a better way to treat than continuing to treat with antihistamines for weeks on end - but what? We follow Dr. Kellon's work so I was surprised when I saw the studies about supplementing with Spirulina - OK, so we've got some science to back this up. We've been off the antihistamines for 6 we...

EXCELLENT product. I have a 17 year old tb that’s always been a hard keeper and this made him bulk up in all the right ways. He loves how it tastes too!!! This stuff is liquid gold for sure. The packaging is terrible though. Definitely save a jug to put it into!!

Started using it right away so have only been using it for about 3 weeks on my 24 year old Arab gelding. I have noticed his black coat is more shiny. My gelding had no problem with the taste as I mixed it with his senior feed and he licks his feed dish clean smacking his lips, but then again he eats most anything that's put in his feed dish! I purchased it to help with joint issues and so far haven't noticed any changes yet can't be too judgemental after only 3 weeks. The enviro pak wasn't the most user friendly and I ended up pouring it into a plastic gallon water jug instead, but I appreciate the company trying to use environmental friendly packaging. Very pleased there is a company in Canada and the free shipping is a huge bonus; only wish I had heard about Mad Barn before.

Excellent product! My horses all eat it with no issues and it helps keep weight on the hard keepers. Everyone's coats are so shiny and healthy. I find this oil better than the competitors and they are twice the price of madbarn. 10/10 recommend. One complaint is the new packaging, I miss the gallon containers that I could put the pump on. I saved an old one and just refill it now. Remember to shake it every day!!

I have been feeding Amino Trace for some time now. My nineteen year old Canadian mare looks fantastic. Her feet are in excellent shape. I feed it twice a day mixed with a small amount of soaked alfalfa cube, and a probiotic. Palatability has never been a problem. I started off with a very small amount mixed with a bit of the ration balancer she was accustomed to, and gradually increased the Amino Trace until I was feeding the recommended amount and dropped the ration balancer . My small donkey was another story. He is a much more selective eater, so I resorted to moistening it with a very small quantity of FlaxAppeal and a little bit of chopped carrot....and bingo, that did the trick! Now they both look forward to their "nummies" with great anticipation. It is great so have access to su...

My Canadian mare is an easy keeper but started diarrhea and has always had lots of gas. I had the Vet check her and do blood work with concerns always for elevated sugar levels. Blood work was normal. The Vet suggested a probiotic and that Mad Barn was a good product. Mad Barn has no added sugar in any of its products. Bonus. To date my mare has been a little reluctant to eat the Viseral but he staff at Mad Barn were prompt in responding to my concerns of getting the product ingested. I know that my mare has been spoiled with carrots & cracked oats so a little mixture of unsweetened applesauce has helped me win her over. I want this product for the preventive properties that is supported by all the other positive reviews. So on our way from 1 - 5 ? My ratings was for their immediate ...
