I have had my mare for 14 of her 24 (almost 25) years of her life, and we have been through many different supplements and products to help her maintain a consistent weight. Any horse owner with a hard keeper understands this struggle…I have never had as much luck as I have with the W3 oil and Omneity MadBarn supplements. In 2019 my 14 year old mare started acting different. She's a well broke trail horse that became explosive, lethargic, sweating excessively, stiff muscles, tripping when going down hills, and had muscle tremors. I knew something had to be wrong. My 14 year old didn't suddenly become unbroke. It started my journey to go to many different vets to figure out what was wrong. It took over a year and a half for me to finally figure out she has PSSM 2. I talked to the nutritionist at Mad Barn. They recommended Amino Trace+ (due to EMS and her PSSM 2) magnesium oxide, methionine and chasteberry all from Mad Barn. I'm very happy to report she is doing fantastic on her current regimen! Her muscles are softer, she's not as lethargic, and she's much happier.

Everyone has been great. Unfortunately, the product is too much powder. At a 1/4 cup my horse would eat some of it but not all. It is completely impractical to have two feedings. The pelleted form is way out of the budget. So, to that end I have gone back to my old supplement and using other Mad Barn products.

So far so good! My horses’ coats look amazing and I think their hoof quality has improved since being on this supplement. The taste did not even faze them when they first tried it. I was a little worried they wouldn’t eat it, but no problems!
