I switched my horses to a forage only diet with the help of the nutrition analysis from Mad Barn. Because my other horse is insulin resistant and has PPID, I was already testing the hay and I was able to include those results. While both horses were already eating a high quality supplement based on all of the research I had done, the nutritionist at Mad Barn nevertheless found my horses’ diet deficient in B vitamins. Would have been 5 stars based on the support Melissa has provided from your shop. However, the software app is pretty cumbersome and not user-friendly at all. I realize there are a whole lot of horse feed product choices and this app attempts to capture all varieties of them. But to small operation horse people looking to keep things as simple as possible, this is not the answer. Thankfully Melissa was able to guide us through the process and helped us better understand our horses' needs via a couple of telephone conversations. She has also remained available for support should questions arise as we get further down the road.
