It’s very easy to feed, I’m just hoping it works as well as the tea bags. We’ll see by end of May.

Great experience. The only thing I would change would be to have a hard copy of the hay analysis for my records. I usually test my hay through Nutralytrical in Calgary and have the complete analysis. I received the notes regarding the protein and NSC and a suggestion for supplements which I am following. The process through MadBarn was very helpful 😁 Thank you for this special service. My gelding foundered quite suddenly at 5 years old, and the prognosis was quite poor. I was told by multiple vets and farriers that I would never ride him again. After many consultations, no answers, and minimal if any improvement in my horses condition, I turned to researching on my own and decided to overhaul his diet. It was relatively clean before (decent quality hay, loose salt, and no grains/hard feed as he was out of work), but it was the one answer that just kept coming up. We later found he was IR, and standard hay and most feeds have too much sugar for him and will trigger laminitis, and, if left unchecked, founder. I put him on tested low sugar hay and he immediately improved, but something was missing. I started him on AminoTrace+ and his hooves started growing in healthier, h...

I admit to not knowing much about spirulina before deciding to purchase it, but our horse was struggling with allergies and I wanted to try anything that would help. He is on a very low dose because he dislikes the taste unfortunately so I don’t know if it’s helping or not, but I’m continuing to add it to his mid day mash and I remain hopeful he’ll appreciate my efforts sooner or later. I will add that I trust Mad Barn’s products, the bag is resealable, it comes with a dosing scooper, shipping is quick, and prices are competitive. Happy overall.
