I take a lot of the Mad Barn products and I love them. Would like to be able just to take your products when it comes to the Cushing of my horse. I would like to know what is the best products for Cushing. Thanks!

I think you have a good thing going! The expense gets to be too much so I am now only using the castleberry and the At+. I started with Mad Barn to help with his Cushing’s. He was on two tablets at the time. He was just recently retested (done yearly) and he is now on three tablets of Prascend with the expectation to retest him next month ( hoping we can take him back to two tablets or less). Needless to say I am re-evaluating all the supplements I have had him on.

My mare would not eat the Omneity pellets when I first switched ration balancers. I changed very gradually like we should, but she left the Omneity in the pan every day. It went on for months. I was not able to add any molasses or honey, etc. to the pellets because she is PSSM1 so she needs only low sugar/starch food. I talked to a MadBarn nutritionist (Tori) who is awesome, and she helped me with my questions and concerns. It took several weeks of Grace eating pretty much nothing but hay, but I wouldn't quit trying because I knew how much better the Omneity was for her vs what I had been feeding. I also know that the size of the pellets was partly the reason she wouldn't eat them. She likes big pellets and these are small ones. But after roughly 8 months of trying and not giving up, she e...

This is a great product. The packaging does make it difficult to pull the spout out of the cardboard - this is why I am giving it 4/5 stars.

The plastic container broke during shipment so there was quite the mess when I opened the package. I would probably go with a pelleted version next time. It only took a few days to transition my horse into liking his new feed. Overall happy with it.

The delivery was fine, but I find the packaging makes it difficult to handle. I have a hard time lifting the 50 lb box and then getting the bag out of it. Some kind of handle would help.

Tuff is an easy keeper, he often was looking for his own minerals in mud, our vet tested blood and even though I was using supplements, he was unbalanced, I started him on the omnity premix a year ago, blood tests are good, he looks great, hair has a shine always.

Again, still believe in the W-3 product but, have a suggestion as to packaging that could provide environmental improvements. I am attaching a short video showing a wine filling process where the bag is self supporting (they used to use boxes to hold bags also). Link - https://youtu.be/ejXWSJlJ9Iw Not sure how this compares to your old system of the bags alone. For your consideration. Regards. Blair
