I enrolled in the Mad Barn Academy’s Introduction to Equine Nutrition to deepen my understanding of how nutrition impacts horse health, performance, and disease prevention. As a veterinarian and equine care advocate, I wanted to bridge the gap between feed formulation and real-world stable application. My learning objectives were to understand the fundamentals of forage-based diets, evaluate feed labels critically, and formulate balanced rations tailored to individual horses. These goals were fully met—the course provided science-backed insights, practical tools, and reinforced my commitment to evidence-based nutrition. It has empowered me to make more informed, welfare-centered feeding decisions in my practice. This course is highly recommended. With love from Tumsiyya from Nigeria

We have a large show jumping facility in Calgary, Alberta and in a barn of 40 plus horses we always have a few with seasonal coughs. In the past, we have done everything from steamed hay to steroid treatments to keep their coughs to a minimum. With the use of NOCR for those affected by seasonal allergies we don't see any coughing. We are blown away by the effectiveness of this supplement. - Erin Taylor Equestrian Canada High Performance Licensed Coach and owner operator of Ironstone farms

The course is helpful, informative and easy to understand. As a coach I am going to recommend it to my students. It helped me to reevaluate the diet of my two horses and made me more confident to help my students when they ask questions.

astray Sam and I love his Omniery pellets! He is doing fabulous on them, and looks like a million bucks. He feet are great, too. I appreciate Mad Barn so much, and I loved my free session with the nutritionist. I learned so much. Thank you, Mad Barn. Of course I’m giving you 5 stars, although you deserve many more!

I have been adding Mad Barn supplements to my horse's diet for years, but now I have an even better understanding of my horse's needs, changes that can be made to help optimize their diet, and help keep them looking, feeling and performing their best. Now I can offer help and insight if others have questions.

My 16 yo pony was struggling a bit with his feet and developed white line disease so I looked for a way to add more nutrition to his diet. He’s been on Amino Trace for about 4 months and is doing really well. His feet have healed up well, his coat looks great, and he seems much happier overall.

I've been using Nocr for my horse, and the results have been great. Since starting on the supplement, his breathing has noticeably improved, and he no longer coughs when he begins work. It's made a real difference in his comfort and performance. I highly recommend it! - Katie Phipps and Jerry 12 yr old gelding jumping 1.10
