I’m not normally one to start adding things to feed and expecting the world to turn upside down, but I LOVE this supplement. My thoroughbred gelding has struggled with sun bleaching and a dull brittle coat his entire life during the summer, and as he’s aged it’s gotten worse through the fall as well. I decided to add the 3:1 zinc/copper to help him grow healthier hair and protect his skin more, and boy it did not disappoint. The first photo is how he started around early July, the next is two months after starting, and the last photo is him now.

Her coat gleams and her barefoot hooves don't chip, crack, or break up. She didn't like the taste but mixed with timothy pellets no problem.

I've been studying to become an Equine Nutritionist, I like to take many courses to not only learn from different perspectives but to further my education in more ways than one. I've come to learn something new / or a different outlook on every course I take. I love the way Mad Barn provided this course not only for free, so its open to anyone but how they laid it out and provided informational videos which helps one stay engaged. There's a lot of valuable information within this course, great for owners who want to learn more about the importance of their horses diet and those who are starting their journey for Equine Nutrition. I think there could be a bit more information within the course for those who know a thing or two already but over all it's a great start.

Really enjoyed the content: straightforward with good explanations for why things are recommended. I only wish that I could make the video go back or forward as I wanted, at times I missed something and wanted to repeat it but I couldn't control that. I just paused as needed to take some notes, but it'd be nice to go back too!

I think this course is really good. It's great if you're just starting your adventure with nutrition or if you own a horse and want to learn more. For a person who already knows something about nutrition, this course is not very groundbreaking, but it helps to consolidate the basics. Some issues could be developed a bit better, and I did not fully agree with some of the statements. I'm from Europe and some nutrition issues are different here, but overall I found some interesting observations. I recommend this course, even just as a curiosity.

This course is excellent. Dr. Chris is personable and informed, providing the information in a calm and easily followed manner. The course offers lots of insights, all gathered from cited sources which gives me confidence that I can depend on its quality and veracity. The course length is good, taking a few days if you are taking lots of time to absord and reflect on the material. I think there may be a few issues with the sound quality from time to time which is slightly distracting but did not compromise my ability to understand the content and learn what I needed to know. I took this course as part of the Mad Barn team both as an opportunity to further my understanding and to test the course's functionality. I enjoyed it, I learned a lot, and I found the overall experience excellent...

My mare would not eat the Omneity pellets when I first switched ration balancers. I changed very gradually like we should, but she left the Omneity in the pan every day. It went on for months. I was not able to add any molasses or honey, etc. to the pellets because she is PSSM1 so she needs only low sugar/starch food. I talked to a MadBarn nutritionist (Tori) who is awesome, and she helped me with my questions and concerns. It took several weeks of Grace eating pretty much nothing but hay, but I wouldn't quit trying because I knew how much better the Omneity was for her vs what I had been feeding. I also know that the size of the pellets was partly the reason she wouldn't eat them. She likes big pellets and these are small ones. But after roughly 8 months of trying and not giving up, she e...
