I initially bought 2kg bags of this. I live in an area with high iron in the soil, so it's common for our horses to bleach out. I went through this in maybe 6 or 7 months (probably giving a little more than the recommended dose), and I honestly wasn't sure if it had really done anything. And then I clipped him. Holy cow! This was the the 4th year I've clipped him, and he's NEVER looked this good after a full body clip. His coat is so dark and shiny. Everyone keeps asking me what I did and literally adding the zinc copper is the only change I made to his diet. I usually clip him in October every year. First photo is last year. 2nd photo is this year.

Hello! I can't believe how much better my horse's hooves are after feeding AminoTrace+. My mare is metabolically challenged and has had chronic thrush problems for years. I was feeding minerals and supplements to balance her hay and her feet were okay but now they are fantastic! She has wonderful new frogs growing in and her feet haven't looked better in all the time I've had her. So I was obviously missing out on something with her other supplements. And it's so nice to just feed a scoop of AminoTrace+ and not have to mix and measure all the other supplements. And she loves the taste! I was a bit worried because she is a very picky girl. From now on she gets AminoTrace+ every day.

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I miss the bag packaging! The box with the spout is easier to be accurate with your measurement for sure, but I feed quite a bit per day (200ml each) so waiting for the spout is sort of painful. That said, the packaging really doesn't change my review on the product. This is an *excellent* oil. I have fed it for more than 2 years now and am happy with the results on every horse I've fed it to. They have all blossomed within a month of adding it to their diet. It's economical enough that every horse gets it, even if they don't have specific ailments to treat. I did a lot of research before choosing W-3 Oil and found it is way higher quality/more bio-available than the majority of the competitive products out there - those that are comparable cost...

I have never offered a customer review before but I felt I needed to for this product. My mare started on this a short time ago and her coat has noticeably improved. She’s shiny and has bloomed with dapples. She eats this with no fuss. I’m so pleased with quality and the quick delivery. MadBarn please continue to offer these great products and excellent customer service and you will have a customer for life!

This spurlina is super high quality. I tried feeding my horses another organic "human food" grade brand of spirulina and none of my animals would touch anything it was mixed in. Our horses all love this particular brand and even the dog was stealing some as i was mixing it in. Smells so fresh!

I purchased this to help with sweet itch symptoms my one horse was in pretty bad skin shape. It's hard to tell how much it's helping this year with her advanced stage of sweet itch, BUT the horses find it so delicious that I'll be purchasing it again and make sure to feed it before fly season starts. 5 stars for how palatable this product is - just beware its a very dark green powdery supplement that can be messy. I put this in with the rest of their feed and soak everything, not sure if they would like it dry. Also for my horses sweet itch most of prevention/ treatment is about environmental management but sometimes feed through supplements can help easy skin irritation and allergic reaction.

I have been feeding Omneity Pellets for a few months now and am very impressed (actually my horses eat all the supplements with the Spirulina being their favorite!). My horses who were getting too fat on even the low starch grain look so much better! I mix all the supplements in with Timothy pellets and then soak it (like sdequus showed) and the horses find it very palatable. Switching from grain to no grain was harder taste wise for the horses but now they are just as happy on the grain free diet. I also really appreciated the feeding analysis provided by mad barn and their willingness to convert some of the metrics for me through email (American here (◠‿◕) ).
