Update : After a year and a Half of feeding MadBarn, my horse is in great shape and Healthy, and no more pain related to EMS. I am fully confident that her new diet has been the game changer. I’ve used this with okay results for a few years, but my mare is now unable to tolerate the whey in this feed. On this supplement, her gut is more susceptible to triggers and leaky gut syndrome. For a company that promotes itself as being species-appropriate and without fillers, this just doesn’t sit right. Whey is high up in the list of ingredients for Omneity. I would love to see reformulations of various powdered products for our horses who are prone to gut inflammation (remove whey, DDGs, rice hulls, etc.).
