Asterin, our highly selective metabolic girl, is thriving on both the psyllium and OHD. She can be finicky with changes to the feeding program and is known for going "on strike" during the adjustment period and stop eating supplements all together when new things are added. Adding the psyllium and OHD was very seamless as both seem to be highly palatable and this is coming from a horse that knows when you add a single pinch of something new. Our vet found sand in the latest stool sample from psyllium which led us to trying the psyllium as a low NSC substitute for traditional products like SandClear.
