My AQHA gelding is homozygous PSSM1. At the recommendation of a MadBarn nutritionist, I started him on Acetyl l-carnitine a couple months ago. He has been much happier muscle wise this fall, even as the weather has turned colder. He also seems to have more energy & forwardness out on the trail.
