The 3:1 Zinc Copper supplement has REALLY made a big difference for my 6-year old IR morgan. It has helped balance our high-iron hay and water (hay test was ~430 ppm iron). I am feeding it in combination with Spirulina and Omneity. His insulin level was 200 a year ago - very high risk for laminitis. He went to a trainer and lost 200 lbs, but when I got him back, he started gaining weight even with regular exercise. After adding the Zinc Copper over fall and winter, his insulin test at end of April 2025 was 47.7 (10-40 is Normal). He is nearly in the Normal range. He has slight fat pads behind his shoulders yet, so I may increase his ration of Zinc Copper to 1.5 scoops. He's currently getting a heaping scoop.
