My mare sometimes needs encouragement to eat the Amino Trace,,, palatability ?? It is given with a ration balancer. She is recuperating from laminitis episode.

I do buy it for a fairly new horse who arrived with a very bad coat. After having fed him about 50 kg of AminoTrace+ he has the most beautiful shiny coat and the final expectation will be a good shedding in the Spring. Luckily he is a greedy eater and loves the pellets.

Hi, I have an equine metabolic syndrome mare who got a very strong laminitis episode this spring/summer. She was laying down all the time and not able to walk without shaking from pain. My vet was considering to put her down based on the radioX. But Yesterday, after 7 months of care and best nutrition & supplements, she was galoping and jumping all over the place with joy like she was 3 years old (she is 16). No boots, no pain killer! We trimmed her every 2-3 weeks, provided massages, hay net, no more sugar/startch, added supplements but I saw a big change in her state when I changed her supplements for the Mad Barn AminoTrace+ and jiogulan. My mare has been on Amino Trace + for about 9 months. I’ve noticed the following: her general mood seems more stable than it used to be (let’s take into account, she is a mare). For the first time ever, all her shoes pulled off in early February due to the unusual soggy conditions (climate change at work). I took the opportunity to experience with her going barefoot. Her hooves are healthy and adapting well to this new condition. The farrier has been watching closely over this time and at her most recent trim, yesterday, told me all aspects of hoof stability are as they should be. I will continue with this product as it is easily tolerated by Diva and is providing observable results.
