My horse did well after coming off of omeprazole and I started him on visceral the last week of the meds and gave him a full scoop of visceral plus since then but his ulcers have started back. He hates Omeprazole banana flavour and won’t take it and I’m at a loss. When is ulcers get bad, I can’t ride him because he can’t handle the saddle or girth.

I am rating it 4 stars as my mare did not like the taste. I have been giving about 1/4 the recommended dose. Gradually increasing. I am still not up to full dose. I do find a change in her behaviour in that she is less spooky. If it is related to less discomfort related to giving her Viseral that is a very good outcome.
