I feed the MSM to my 24 year old mini and after a month he is much more inclined to trot and canter in the field.

I started using MSM a couple of years ago to help with my mare's arthritic hocks. The last order was full of firm lumps, where previously the product was lump free. A little more of a nuisance to mix it in the feed. Otherwise I have no concerns.
