Feeding the pellets once a day saves me time and money, as I feed less. This also has the upside that my chubby horses don’t get calories they don’t really require. All this, while they have they vitamins and minerals they need!

We recently bought a QH who came with very detailed anti-inflammatory instructions for her feeding, all of which were large name brand products with large name brand prices. We felt the regime would benefit from some simplification. We normally feed ground flax as part of out horses diets but the new horse did not take to this. We looked into flax oil, hemp oil and another highly advertised oil all of which were very expensive, then we remembered that Madbarn also had an omega oil. we feed hay, pasture, flax seed, Omeity pellets and now to our horses, and now W-3 oil. They have strong, feet, shining coats and bright dispositions. We are super happy with this product, plus it smells great, and tastes mild but delicious - yes I tried it!

I researched spirulina to help one of my horses that has serious respiratory issues. Ive combined this with the jiaogulan herb and have been very happy with the results. You have to introduce it slowly and build up and I wet my horses food and he eats it right up now. No more dex shots, no more heavy breathing! I am thrilled with the results! I can ride him and he can breath again! Mad Barn ships fast. Great customer service. And i am happy with the quality of their products!

Easy 1 scoop for the average horse provides the full NRC daily guidelines. 20mg of biotin in highly palatable distillers grain and wheat midds. Full dose biotin at a fraction of the cost of the pre-formulated hoof supplements. Great if you are following a low sugar/starch diet formulation for your horse.

This is my third bucket of product. I am using it as a [redacted] measure as my horse had sever [redacted] which took 5 months and $1500 in vet fees and medications to clear. I will be doing another test soon at immunization time to confirm he is still [redacted] free. If this product continues to support an [redacted] free horse, I don't think you can put a price on that! He eats it, it is easy to administer and I am very happy with it. I use the pellets. He has actually lost some weight and the belly is gone - I suspect that is because he doesn't feel the need to eat all the time to make his belly feel better. *** Parts of this review have been redacted to comply with Health Canada Regulations ***

My gelding is on Madbarn’s Vitamin E and I couldn’t be happier with it! Not only is it palatable and he eats it happily, but it also keeps his vitamin E levels normal (I have checked his blood work frequently to ensure that), and does so at a way more reasonable price than the other supplements out there. A product.

Excellent service, excellent products, fast shipping. The podcast interview on The Humble Hoof was also very informative! I will only be ordering supplements from Mad Barn.

Not only do I really appreciate the free shipping, but I am so pleased to have found a supplement that, so far, has balanced 3 different Alberta-BC hays very nicely!! The AminoTrace is more expensive than the mineral supplements I had been feeding before, BUT once I learned how to balance the minerals my horse needs to the hay he was eating I saw that not only were the previous supplements not contributing anything my horse actually needed in amounts that would make a difference, they also had some potentially harmful ingredients!! So I was very clearly wasting my money before. Now, not only do I know my horse's mineral needs are being met, there was a marked change to tighter hoof growth since he was started on the AminoTrace . I have photos of it, it is very obvious. I also love t...

I have to admit that I am unsure if it was just to IR supplement the combination of IR and visceral however I saw a huge difference in one of my mare especially. She was consistently overweight and now with these products she maintains her weigh even though she is still feed the same amount (round bale in a net).

I used this for my mini with a dangerously high insulin level. It satisfied her need for food at the same time gave her everything she needed to start to get better. My Gelding also benefitted from the IR supplement as he can get cresty in the summer.
