I have hard well water.. so lots of iron. The zinc/ copper keeps my black horse black. Love it!!

My horse was suffering from chronic Mud Fever (Scratches) and after researching, discovered he may have been suffering with deficiencies. I purchased this and not only did he heal quickly, it has not come back.

I started giving my horse MadBarn Milk Thistle at the beginning of this spring after he foundered late summer the year before. No recurring laminitic episode since, and while I’m not sure how much of that is due to the milk thistle, what has been noticeable is a bog reduction in seasonal allergies. For the first time in 4 years he did not lose hair on his face & stomach this summer, and less prolonged coughing which he’s struggled with during peak pollen times in spring/fall. I feel like the milk thistle is a cost effective piece of his maintenance puzzle.

My pasture was in poor condition this summer due to drought, so I decided to supplement with MB’s bioavailable vitamin E, to make up the difference between what was provided in my horse's Amino Trace and what the daily recommended allowance is for Vit E my horse. His movement improved and was more fluid. I didn’t really realize how much Vit E helped muscle function until I supplemented with it this year.

Both of my horses are doing fantastic! I really feel this supplement along with eating management has helped in getting their weight under control.

Now that Floyd has been on this for about a year I retested him for IR and it seems he no longer is, this product must be working!

I use this product for my gelding, who is recovering from laminitis that he had just over a year ago, who also has some lung issues, because of the laminitis we can not give him the standard medications for lung problems. Since using this he does not cough as much as he used to, and nothing else has changed for him. He does like the product and his laminitis is much better, so I will keep on giving it to him.
