Priska has helped me figure out the best nutrition for my Friesian. As seasons change and his fitness changes, she has worked with me to keep him happy and healthy. We've even had to make adjustments to feed because we had to move to a different barn twice! I am loving the products from Mad Barn and my boy is happier because his nutritional needs are being met and his tummy doesn't hurt. Thanks for all the continued help.

Very helpful to get a custom analysis done using the forage analyses for my horses and have my many questions answered by an equine nutritionist. Nutrition is tricky and each horse is different. It’s easy to get carried away over-supplementing on some things and under-supplementing on others. My large warmblood had ulcer issues, partial anhidrosis and mild IR. All now managed by adding only the vitamins and minerals needed to balance his forage diet.

I submitted our 13 year old geldings diet analysis last October. I let them know he was suffering from leaky gut, had grade 4/4 ulcers earlier in the year (March 2021) that were treated. They recommended a plan. We put him on Visceral to start and his leaky gut started to clear up. We then introduced his Omneity and noticed even more changes in his performance. He had a bigger stride, sucked back less at the jumps, less bucking and his mood levelled off. He’s always been stressed about new situations and would vibrate, but he handles them better now - like his first time in the ocean, he was nervous but curious and relaxed enough to enjoy himself. Madbarn customer service is excellent and responsive! Our horse is feeling better physically and mentally. Thank you!

One of my horses had conformational hoof issue exacerbated by inappropriate shoeing and, as I learned in my journey to better hoof health and transition to barefoot, inappropriate diet. I switched my horses to a forage only diet with the help of the nutrition analysis from Mad Barn. Because my other horse is insulin resistant and has PPID, I was already testing the hay and I was able to include those results. While both horses were already eating a high quality supplement based on all of the research I had done, the nutritionist at Mad Barn nevertheless found my horses’ diet deficient in B vitamins. The nutritionist's review was detailed and very helpful. My senior PPID gelding is now on a forage-based diet supplemented with non-molassed beet pulp, Amino Trace, and Optimum Digestive pellets. He has 24/7 turnout in a very large, dry paddock with shelter. I am pleased with his weight and general condition.
