I started my 22 yo Arabian mare on chasteberry 8 months ago, in June, when she started drinking and urinating excessively. We suspected PPID. I hadn't really noticed the other symptoms since they came on gradually, but we started other herbals and supplements to support PPID as well. In a few weeks she became less withdrawn & moody, in a couple months her coat had shed out & became much more sleek & shiny, and her drinking and urination was becoming more normal. We moved barns, so had a feed change at 4 months. She lost her cresty neck, and was more active at the new barn. We were able to reduce her dose of chasteberry at 6 months, and her activity, urination and drinking are totally back to where they were before.
