For me this works better than the pellets as it is cheaper and I am having to mix the peelers with other feed anyway to get my picky eater to eat it.

My horses are finally eating it without balking at it. They get 1 scoop that came with the bag, and I give 1 scoop of wheat bran (same size scoop). My horses won't eat more because of the chalky consistency. Very happy your nutrionist noticed my hay last yr was lacking in phosphorus.
