I am unsure how it is since I just started. So far seems OK. The 22 year old quarter horse seems good on it but I think after at least 3-4 mo I can assess better.

My farrier noticed that my 28 year old geldings' hooves were stronger and more flexible after 2 months of use. I never told him I was doing anything different. He was amazed and is going to pass Madbarns info to some of his other clients who have horses with problem feet.

When I started my gelding on Omniety he required shoes, after 6 months he was able to go barefoot year round. His coat is full and shiny all winter. My only complaint is that this feed can be unpalatable, I feed with beet pulp and still can only feed about 80% of a recommended serving. It is great if your horse will eat it!
