This oil is fantastic ! Added bonus: My horses lap up their Madbarn supplements . These products have taken the guesswork out of making sure my equine partners have all the bases covered for their nutrition. I especially love that they have equine nutritionists that I can reach out to personally to answer any questions I may have.

My horses are on a forage only diet, no grain. They eat omneity every day without having to mix it with anything. I give them the suggested amount, they eat what they feel they need, sometimes they leave a bit but that way I know they are getting what they feel they need and I don’t have to worry about them getting too much. They really like it and they all look and feel great and also their hooves are strong and all barefoot.

Seems to like it much better then the Herbs for Horses version, that took a while fir him to eat. Will see how long the bag lasts, I feed it daily. So far the horses find it very palatable. One gelding in my herd seems very energized (too much!) since I started feeding it, and my neighbour’s mare who also just started is having a similar reaction we think. Hard to tell if it’s the minerals or the cold weather or something else. Maybe it’s too soon to tell. Also I have sent our hay tests so we are waiting for feedback. I might not order the big bag again, which came to the Post Office fairly promptly, because it’s so heavy and bulky for me to move.

I have been buying from Mad Barn for a few years. Second time with a custom blend and first time with any issues. It was Christmas and New Year's so a bit of leeway on a communication delay and a mislabeling on product that caused a bit of worry. A four star review for one order of many that has been not quite perfect. I haven't used the blend long enough to rate it.
