I struggled for months trying to get weight on my mini mare after she had ulcers. Even with lots of hay and feed nothing was making a difference. She had been on camelina oil for several months, but it wasn't making a difference. I already used other madbarn products, so I decided to give the w-3 oil a try. I started noticing a few things in the first month she seemed more happier to eat, and looked like she was so 'sunken' around the hips. But with it being winter and having a wooly miniature it's so hard to tell if they're gaining weight. After doing a quick body clipping a few days ago, I couldn't believe what I saw. Nothing changed in her diet other then adding in the w3 oil. I wish I had gotten a photo of what she looked like before ! She's been on the w3 oil since November 202...

Your product was not the issue. The fact that my horse absolutely refused to eat it was 😂. Not able to say if there was any benefit.

My I.R.horse loves them! I top dress his soaked balance Timothy cubes with them and he thinks it’s grain. ❤️

Great service. My horse eats it easily but I am not sure if it is helping her.

While the majority of the analysis seems in order I have concerns about the ESC and Starch values because they are done by NIR and not wet chemistry - as was discovered when reading the sample submission form. The advertising on the Mad Barn website gave me the initial impression that the entire testing was done by wet chemistry as there is no listing of NIR in the advertising of the forage analysis product . ESC and Starch is specifically listed under a Wet Chemistry description. I have a laminitic horse and the sample came back with seemingly ’to-good-to-be-true’ values for the ESC and starch content. (Below 10%). With her health hanging in the balance I’m not confident that NIR ESC & Starch is giving me the best information to work with. I do not grow my own hay and cannot be sure of t...

Excellent supplement. Been using for 9 month now. I have used horse supplements for 25 years, and I have never seen that much change in my horse's tail growth and hoof health. Impressive!

Copper is so important. Pat Colby’s book Natural horse care mentions it often… dark coloured horses need more. Same goes for humans. My chestnut mares coat seems more even and less flaky likely due to copper for anti parasite action.
