My young Lusitano mare has EMS/IR and is chronically laminitic. Have tried everything and had high hopes with this supplement, but she won’t touch this with a ten foot pole. When I open the container she hides in the far corner of her stall... I have used every trick in the book to try to get it her eat it but -not a chance... so disappointed.

My mare in the winter has stall anxiety and gets ulcery, I switched her to a sugarless grain and have put her on visceral! I have seen a wonderful difference in her. She is calmer when you walk her outside and loves coming inside at night!

I love MadBarn products. I've had great success with the Omneity pellets. I purchased the Amino Trace pellets for my recently diagnosed cushings horse, he is a very fussy eater. He would not touch it. My other horse however eats it right up so it won't go to waste but I'm disappointed the horse that needs it most won't touch it.

Found this product very helpful for my Cushings gelding in conjunction with pergolide. As an aside I tried it on a retired mare we have here that suffers from Hyoercementosis & has lost several of her incisors. She seemed really interested in the geldings feed, so I tried her with one scoop per day. Within a couple of weeks I saw a marked improvement in her gums & she hasn’t had any more trouble with her incisors. She is now able to eat from a slow-feeder haynet without difficulty, previously her incisors would cause her discomfort. My horses love this product! I noticed they lap it up, plus their manes are all growing in thicker new growth this year since I started this oil! I am quite happy.

I love this product!! I switched my horse to this two months ago and I'm already seeing positive changes. I also feel a lot less anxious about trying to work out what "holes" I need to fill in her diet while feeding this, as there ARE no holes! No extra supplements needed! Amino Trace+, on its own, has better levels of biotin, copper, zinc, magnesium, etc., than I would find in any supplements I might have needed to add to other commercial feeds, and I love that it doesn't have a bunch of sugary filler.
