Optimum Digestive Health from Mad Barn has been a huge tool in helping my sensitive mare find a happy gut balance throughout weather changes or stressful events. She has had a few colics over the years but since starting this supplement she has been much more consistent and I fret much less thank goodness! High quality supplement that I highly recommend if your horse has a sensitive digestive system.

I started using Spirulina sometime in June 2024 because it was recommended to me by a friend who's mare suffers from sweet itch, like mine does. I have tried all sorts of remedies, including natural ones but always landed up giving her two steroid shots in the summer (which only last for a short while). We are now mid August and I have not given her the second shot. To say that I am impressed, is putting it mildly. I am hoping if I start it earlier next year, I will eliminate the steroids altogether. Now I do need to mention my mare suffers from sweet itch around her neck and shoulder areas on the mild side. My horse has been on Mad Barn Omneity for about 4 months now. We love it! He gets all his nutritional needs met and his hooves are looking much stronger. We’ve added the MSM and the electrolytes, both of which he eats no prob. I’ve been very impressed with MB’s quality and pricing. I’m about to add the probiotics and I’ll likely be a fan of that product too! Thanks MB!

Monosodium phosphate is the only way to balance our rations - much appreciated! There is a remarkable excess of calcium compared to phosphorus in our soil, forages and (every) ration balancer we've added to the analysis, and the imbalance would be amplified for those on a feed or alfalfa hay due to caloric needs. This may be the only remaining, reliable and palatable source of phosphorus (without calcium), since Uckele seems to have ceased producing it (company was sold in 2023). A word of caution: not all soils and forages are imbalanced in the way ours are, so do your homework: get a representative sample of your soil(s), forages and any feeds (more than once), check the NRC tables, and do the math - consult your veterinarian and/or find a qualified nutritionist -- before adding this o...

My 26 year old mare experienced mild colic earlier this year for the first time. We went through the treatment and it reoccured a few weeks later. My vet suspected we were dealing with [REDACTED] as my mare was concurrently dealing with issues gaining weight, poor coat quality, reoccurring skin issues, and general ick. You could tell she just didn't feel good. I started her on this Visceral+ and a month later she was putting on weight, regaining topline, bright-eyed and sassy! Her skin issues have also subsided. I'm convinced her body was just fighting too much and thanks to this supplement she's getting all the nutrients she needs to live her golden years comfortably. A nice side effect of starting this supplement is you may also end up with a nice dark summer coat that isn't sunbleached ...

We gave our master a month of omeprazole and started her on this supplement towards the end of her treatment. Tilly had a couple trigger points that would cause her to rear if touched- her chest and stomach. She also didn’t want us grooming her or touching her stomach at all. She would bite and kick and was generally unhappy with any kind of touch. Well she’s been on Visceral for six months now, and we can touch her all over! She’s happy and healthy, loves to be scratched, and doesn’t mind the being girthed. I have zero plans on taking her off of this because it has helped so much- just wish it was a bit more cost effective.

Started using MSM after my boy injured his stifle and went for surgery, he displaced his miniscus,so, 2 months go by and recovery stall time and Adequan injections happen and knee injections for me to be told he 'may' or 'may not' recover, it's been 3 months. He looks like a 4 yr old, beautiful mover, (on his own) I will never use him for reining again. But he is alive and not in pain, he can function like the others in the field! He is my baby I raised this guy from 4 months old he is my everything and I believe you had a hand in that, thank you!
