After my top horse was rushed to a veterinary hospital for a severe colic, I turned to Scott for help, I just wanted my horse to be healthy, comfortable and happy. After a long discussion we came up with a basic simple plan to start him on the right track to health. Visceral was a key part of the plan as he was a sweet and gentle horse but definitely quietly suffered with anxiety on the inside. I keep him on a regular dose of Visceral all year round except on his down time in January and February. Since these changes, his coat and weight have improved and he has not suffered from colic in 3 years. All my competition horses are on Visceral as well during the show ...

My horses don't really appreciate it, they ate it at first but started to leave more and more behind (which is really not like them, they literally eat anything), and by the end of the bucket, I had to add some other product in hoping they will take at least a minimum dose. Plus it's really pricy, even if you don't need that much, if you compare the price with other products on a monthly basis, it's about double of everything else. For one horse, it may be acceptable but for several horses, not so much.

Very happy with this product but do give it time to work! My mare didn't show real results until 6 months later. She was on Omeprazole and was still experiencing episodes of what I would call a leaky bum and inconsistent poops. Definite hind gut ulcers. Now she no longer is on Omeprazole and her poops are normal. Thanks AJ for introducing us to Visceral, it has been a game changer.

Really happy to have found this product. I was mixing my own custom mix to my hay, but could never get my horses to eat a full dose of magnesium, copper, or zinc. They would always stop eating their hay pellets or cubes no matter how I tried to dress it up.They eat the Mad Barn Amino Trace pellets well, and it has simplified my feeding program! Horses are looking great on it too

The visceral did not seem to help him which leaves me to believe his physical reaction, which could have been interpreted as discomfort from ulcers, was probably not ulcers . (As a desperation, I also tried a month of , which is said to make an immediate difference if ulcers are present. There was no change with that, again suggesting that his discomfort was not ulcers) So it is not fair to rate it. I believe his problems all stemmed from his thin soles feet, compensation because of his discomfort in his feet, and also, being constantly attacked in his herd.
