I really like the concept of this product and hoped it would be the answer for my gelding but sadly after trying for over a month, he just rejects anything that has more than a 1/4 scoop of the pellets in it. I have even tried masking it with molasses which defeated the purpose of removing all the sugars from the rest of his feed and he still won’t eat it.

Love Mad Barn - great products and great service. In the instance of this particular purchase, the wrong product was initially received. I left a voice mail explaining the problem and 10 minutes later was contacted by a delightful gal who had already re-ordered the correct product which was subsequently received. It was hard to judge as to its effectiveness as neither horse was interested in eating it even mixed with mash. Will not order it again for that reason… most of it was wasted. Have heard this complaint from others who have tried it

I’ve been using W-3 oil for about a year now and my 22 year old paint with terrible cracking feet is doing so well I won’t even consider stopping! He gets 60 - 90 ml daily, more in this dry hot weather, and it has also helped improve his coat and general health.
