I have been using this probiotic for years on both my younger, middle-aged and older horses. This product exceeds all expectations and has kept my horses well-balanced. It has helped to support horses that have needed rigorous oral medications and ill-stricken horses get back to good health. I have had great success using this in horses with heavy free-fed hay diets that don't have grazing opportunity or are in minimal work that are likely to get large hay bellies or compactions. I think this is an excellent product for just about any horse and highly recommend it.

If the description of this product matches your goals then I recommend it, but consider repackaging it once you have received it. I noticed an improvement in the coats of my two horses but it was difficult to get them to eat it. I had to add other enticing elements to get them to eat their soaked grain with this in it. The packaging is a tall resealable bag where the product settles to the bottom causing you to have to reach in and get your hands/clothes covered in the product. It doesn't brush off easily, I have to wash it off. I put mine into a shallow, wide-mouthed container and kept the scoop outside of it to reduce the amount of messy transfer. If you or your ...

My Canadian mare has been on IR supplement for a few months now and she’s doing great, her weight stabilized and I no longer have to pharmacologically treat her EMS. I’m very grateful for this product!

I am trying it as it may help with Cuhing as my horse has been recently diagnosed, I first started with only the MB Chasteberry without the medication Prascend, after a month I had to start giving Prascend. I have ordered enough Chasteberry for 2 months and we will see how itgoes. Giving it 3 Stars for now as I have to be fair in my rating. However previous purchases of other product was Excellent

I have the most beautiful dragon mare. She bites, kicks, and pulls faces constantly. Such a sassy princess – I love her. However, I thought it would be nice to be able to go to the barn and not have to worry so much about being injured, so I decided to try this supplement.Does it work? Well...the jury is still out. Has she kicked me in the two weeks or so since she's been on it? Well, she has tried, yes, but has not been successful (for the record, she has NEVER been successful). Same with the biting (she HAS been successful with the biting a couple times). Has is gotten better since being on the chasteberry supplement? It's hard to say. But it definitely hasn't got...

I have two mares with very different needs. One is 4 years old, full of energy (and SASS!!), and has only recently been started under saddle. The other is nearing 19 years old, is arthritic, a little plump, and sweet as they come. I put both my girls on this supplement for different reasons – one to help with healthy weight gain (my youngster was quite ribby and dull-coated when I got her less than a year ago), and the other to help with overall health and vitality (I want my old girl to stay healthy until she's 50 – no, 60!). I also have both girls on the Omnity premix and the MB vitamin E and Selenium supplement. This, in addition to all the pasture and grass ha...

Arrived promptly. Thanks Mad Barn! My horse was having mild colic symptoms after riding. My vet suspected ulcers. He had no other symptoms so we thought we'd try Visceral. Great product, no more colicky episodes since he's been on it! He happily eats it too, no problems! I just wish it was a bit more cost effective but they do offer a bit of a discount when purchased in larger volumes so that's a plus!!
