Our 13 year old miniature suffers from extremely severe RAO as well as being insulin resistant and prone to laminitis. Our farrier describes him as the worst breathing problems he has ever encountered. We have had to adminster steroids and bronchodilator. Our vet has concerns that his heart will stop.We had been giving spirulina from which benefits were not noticeable to us. Approximately Nov 1, 2025 we started NOCR and started to see improvement within a few weeks. Obviously his lungs are in bad shape and we aren't sure if we will win the war against this chronic lung disease. But because of the NOCR his respiration is less labored, he has almost no mucus, his coughing is much less, usually only when he rolls and he is able to run again.
