I am rating it 4 stars as my mare did not like the taste. I have been giving about 1/4 the recommended dose. Gradually increasing. I am still not up to full dose. I do find a change in her behaviour in that she is less spooky. If it is related to less discomfort related to giving her Viseral that is a very good outcome.

It was great for my two horses.

When we first combined this with the spirulina we’ve been giving our girl with respiratory issues for a few years it seemed to help better than the meds the vet prescribed; however, I don’t know if it is still working as her breathing has become an issue to the point where she has lost over 100 lbs from coughing. We mix her supplements with beet pellets and lately she’s gone off that for some reason so we’re not sure if she doesn’t like the taste of the jiaogulan or it’s the beets. In any case, the added jiaogulan seemed to help almost immediately when we started it. I would definitely recommend it for respiratory issues.

The madbarn oill is fantastic. But this new packaging, not so much. The box rips as it can’t carry the baggie of oil. A plastic bottle would be better.

Delivery was faster than I expected and support from staff was unbelievable. Un fortunately, the horse I bought for refused to take it even when mixed with Stock feed #13 which contains molasses with he normally loves.Now trying to mix it with Del Monte apple compote, seems to work so far but getting expensive.

Horses love the spirulina and it seems to be helping our horse with a cough. The packaging could be a bit more user friendly, I feel like the powder stuck to my hand after I reach in the bag is such a waste.

great products. Pricy but horses seem to like them

Although low in calories and great and balanced nutrition, the palatability is poor for my horse that generally eats anything.
