We decided to try Mad Barn W-3 oil based on a friend's experience. We have a horse that has sweet itch and HATES clothing. Besides the cost of shredded fly sheets and time spent finding masks, we don't want him hurt if he gets tangled in dangling swaths of sheet. His skin cleared up quickly and he spent the rest of the summer of 2024 naked. We have it on auto ship and consider it essential to his feeding program.

Very happy with the W-3 oil. I actually love the packaging, get every last drop out. My crew looks great. I will be Vit E testing in early spring to see if supplementation is adequate, as we have needed to supplement Vit E for years. I am hopeful this “kills multiple birds” in one product.

I started using the W-3 Oil in hopes that it would help my 23 year old navicular rehab horse with her osteoarthritis. Unfortunately, I did not see any improvement. My horse does better on oral hyaluronic acid so I switched her back to OsteoMax, and within 2-3 days she showed marked improvement. I really wanted the W-3 Oil to work though!
