I honestly can not say whether Visceral + works or not. My horse was on the product for two months as suggested, but had to be put down due to complications of [redacted] and unresolved diarrhea. This caused him to go into renal failure. This is about as accurate as I can get on the product itself. Thank you MadBarn for providing Visceral in a palatable pellet form so it's easy to add to my horses's daily diet. My 18 year old AQHA mare was having on-going digestive issues when I moved her to a new barn. Feeding Visceral played a key role in helping her to feel better and to have healthier stools. It will now be a permanent part of her diet. Also - I'd like to thank you for providing a free diet analysis. Dr. Fowler helped me understand my hay analysis and what I could offer my mare for better hindgut health as well as appropriate vitamin/mineral balance. My horse ate visceral with his food each day and I thought he was benefitting because his snarky behavior while being groomed and racked up had improved. However, he developed allergies to one or more of the ingredients and I had to take him off of it.

Before I moved my mare to a new barn,She was having episodes of mild unexplained colic. She was kept in a stall most of the time and was turned out no more than 4 hours a day.She acted stressed out. She would stall weave a lot. She never really finished her feed and always preferred her hay over anything else. At the new barn, She continued showing those signs again regardless of being on 24/7 turnout. I realized that she might have [redacted] due to her symptoms.
