My Andalusian that suffered his first bout of Laminitis Nov 2024 has been on this as well as the program that Dr Fran put him on for an entire year. My IR mare has been on it for 4 weeks. I have not been able to get any weight off her so far. She has sore feet, so I can' really exercise her. I have been careful to limit the fall grass. She has renal insufficiency to complicate matters.

I have 3 horses on MagneChrome, it's been around 3 months. I've been wondering if I need blood tests to see if their insulin resistance has changed. I don't know how to tell if it is helping. But so far my mini hasn't gotten winter laminitis. I'm also keeping him at nearly his ideal weight and soaking every meal of his hay. I'd love your input, thanks. This is a big experiment for me.

My 2003 Arabian gelding had a thick neck crest, he hasn't had grain or concentrates for more than three years. I decided to try this. His neck crest is much diminished. He isn't fond of the taste. We introduced it very slowly. I'll keep using it. Shipping is fast and it is well packaged.

My horse was previously on remission and consistently refusing his grain. I switched to MagneChrome and he eats it happily. He is staying at a healthy weight and looks great!
