I have a very picky mare worh aweet itch. This is the only Spurulina she will eat and believing it will really help her sweet itch. I didnt find Mad Barn till last year well into the season so we are hopeful for relief this summer

Game changer for my horses gut health

My horse absolutely loves this product. I feel good knowing that he is getting the absolute best from Mad Barn. He licks the bottom of his food bowl every time.

This product seems to really help both my 23 year old cushings mare as cushings causes them to be immunocompromised. And my gelding who 15 and has COPD he is on both this and jaiogulan and the combination has really helped.

Good product as a source of DHA, EPA, Affordable, Palatable (horse made a face the first time it was offered but ate it all upon subsequent feedings). My only complaint is how messy it is…and I do mean messy, gets on my hands, my clothes and sticks to feed bowls requiring thorough cleaning every time.

This spirulina calmed my girl’s cough in about 5 days. I’m afraid to take her off it!

I originally bought this to improve my horse's allergies, as her eyes weep and crust a lot. After about a solid month of using it, her eyes still weep, but there's a lot less irritation around them and her other skin issues have improved greatly. In combination with her other madbarn supplements (jiaogulan, w-3 oil, omneity), her skin, coat, hooves, and inflammation have improved. She is less cresty, her fat deposits have lessened, and she looks very shiny and healthy. She does not like the taste of the spirulina, but I toss her supplements in with soaked teff pellets in place of grain and this masks the taste very well. The w-3 oil also helps!

My horse was diagnosed with "immune mediated keratosis" brought on by allergies (we think). My vet told me about a study involving spirulina and a barn full of TBs in which it it appeared that supplementing with spirulina, environmental allergies were positively affected and symptoms mitigated. So I tried it. On my third bag and we haven't had a flare up. 😁 It's messy though. 😅😂

Have not noticed anything yet from this supplement, on 2nd bag and pony doesn’t like the taste and wastes most of it even mixed with molasses.
