My IR mare was on antibiotics for a tick borne disease. She also had some sort of itchy bumps/hives. I added this to her spirulina. Her bumps are gone and she is no longer itchy. I think helping her liver cleanse has helped the spirulina. I will be keeping her on this until all the leaves drop from the trees. I will absolutely purchase this for next year also.

The milk thistle is working great for these winter months while feeding hay. Because it is nearly impossible to keep some weeds out of the hayfields, and I do not buy hay that has been sprayed with herbicides, milk thistle has helped with supporting the kidneys & liver to detox anything questionable in the hay.. One horse used to stock up when on hay, but as long as she gets milk thistle she does not anymore. This company is also great to work with. Highly recommend both the product & Mad Barn.

I ordered this to protect the liver of my Three horses because there are trees in my pasture that would be toxic if they eat them and I can’t take them down. I believe it works well except maybe a little two well as my cushings mare was becoming more symptomatic. And I realized that the milk thistle was likely clearing out her precend! So I took her off of it. And she’s responding to her meds again so I wouldn’t use on a horse that needs meds for an ongoing condition! The other two are doing well on it.

We moved from PA 5 years ago where my mare always had milk thistle to eat in the pasture. Upon moving to FL, when she found a milk thistle, she immediately ate them. This supplement is one that she will eat!

My horses are still enjoying it on their grain without any issues. I believe it keeps the liver happy

I trust their products. I can’t say that about many products on the shelves in my area. I’m always worried about the tariff aspect and shipping, but the milk thistle is making a huge difference in my Morgan’s health.
