3 in1 Copper Zinc has helped my mare with cracks in her hooves. Within a month the cracks are gone. Also is helping with the faded mane and tail.

I imported a PRE from Spain just over a year ago. When he arrived, his hooves and coat were in great shape. Over the next several months, his coat became dry and brittle, he developed pastern dermatitis, and his feet became cracked. Although he was fed a balanced diet, my vet and I determined that he might not be getting enough copper and zinc. Within a few weeks of feeding Madbarn 3:1 Copper Zinc, the dermatitis disappeared, and his coat and hooves began to improve. Although my other horses did not exhibit similar symptoms, I've added this product to their rations as well and have seen an improvement in coat and hoof health.

After submitting a hay sample for analysis, it was discovered that if was extremely high in iron. Balancing it with additional zinc and copper was needed. This product was suggested. Both of my horses readily ate this added to their feed. I am pleased with the product and Mad Barn service.

It’s a little early to tell, but our barefoot trimmer, who is also a chemist, looked at our vitamin supplement and recommended we increase our horses Zinc Copper. One of our horses had a bad winter laminitis event about 10 months ago and she thinks that this may help him grow out a better hooves. Little early to tell, but keep watching the new growth from the top.

I live in an area with a fair amount of iron in the soil. Battling hoof cracks and abscesses has been a challenge. My horses have been in this for 4 months and the cracks are growing out! Huge change in their feet! Their concavity is nice, their sole depth has improved, and their frogs are healthier as well! I am very happy with this supplement!

Great product, I bought it to add a little more zinc and copper, to my horses forage balancer. I live in high iron area. And needed this to balance it out. I really like that it’s more palatable than other Zn/Cu supplements. My horse, licks her mash bucket clean.

I love pure supplements, not those that are blended with unnecessary fillers and other extras, and this balanced pairing of two minerals is just right. I know my horses consume quite a bit of iron with their hay so supplemental zinc and copper are necessary. And I don’t know whether it’s just a coincidence but when I’ve stopped the zinc and copper for two or three months my chestnut gelding grows in Birdcatcher spots. If I put him back on the supplement the next coat that grows in loses the spots.

I’ve been using this for about 4 months to help with my barefoot horses hoof health and I have definitely seen a difference. The hooves chip less and they are more comfortable walking on rocky ground.
